so, as I am almost ready to deliver another corset into the arms of its happy owner, I paused to take a progress photo... and managed to take something that seems solid proof that I am part of some mystical cult. see for yourself:

yes yes yes,
almost done with another corset... waiting on a box of boning which should arrive tomorrow... funny, it looks so... droopy... when not on a body... (the front is missing bones, so that would explain that...)


well, [info]bleumuffin you'll have to get me a good photo of this one... as long as the boning is here tomorrow, you should have it by the beginning of next week at the latest.

so, we went and bought some more plants... a boston fern, (pretty) and a philodendron (innocuous green leafy- fast growing- boring plant... or so we thought)

when LO and BEHOLD, I discover that this heart-shaped plant is actually a murderous bastard... which is apparently rather poisonous to our furry friends... and since the furry friends are VERY interested in all the plants, our little philodendron is going to go back to the shop today...

in light of the fact that we were trying to poison him, hector has made another drawing... he says it's a self-portrait and that he is, in fact, a silver-clawed, three-toed, fire sloth and that as such, he is immune to philodendrons and should be allowed to eat it at once.



darn that precocious cat.
